I Comandanti dei due Gruppi del 37° Stormo hanno raggiunto il prestigioso traguardo delle 1.000 ore di volo su velivolo F-16.

Per festeggiare l' avvenimento ogni Gruppo ha dipinto un velivolo con una sgargiante livrea commemorativa dedicata contemporaneamente all' araldica dell' Unità ed al suo Comandante.

il X° Gruppo per il Maggiore Pilota Salvatore 'Cheero' Ferrara ha preparato un velivolo che inalbera orgoglioso il Cavallino Rampante che già fu della 91ª Squadriglia e del suo Comandante Maggiore Francesco Baracca.

Il 18° Gruppo ha preparato al Maggiore Pilota Maurizio 'Masa' De Angelis invece un velivolo che richiama nei colori e nelle stilizzazioni lo Stemma del Reparto col suo motto : "ocio che te copo", in pura lingua veneta a ricordo delle sue origini.

Tutto il Personale dei Reparti ha voluto che alla giornata fossero presenti anche gli amici che negli anni hanno seguito e supportato il loro lavoro.

Un grazie dal più profondo del cuore a tutti gli appartenenti al 37° Stormo.

The Commanders of the two Gruppi of 37° Stormo reached the prestigious milestone of 1000 flight hours on F-16 aircraft.

To celebrate the event each Gruppo has painted an airplane with a commemorative livery remebering at the same time the heraldry of the Unit and his Commander.

X° Gruppo for the Maggiore Pilota Salvatore 'Cheero' Ferrara has prepared an airplane leafy proudly the Prancing Horse which was already of the 91ª Squadriglia and its Commander Maggiore Francesco Baracca.

The 18° Gruppo has prepared for the Maggiore Pilota Maurizio 'Masa' De Angelis an airplane in the colors and the stylization of the shield of the Unit with its motto: "ocio che te copo" (attention, i kill you), in pure Venetian language as memory of his origins.

For this celebration all the Personnel of the Units wanted the presence of the friends that in the years have followed and supported their work.

La giornata è stata caratterizzata dalla mattinata con la consueta missione addestrativa e dal pomeriggio dedicato ai festeggiamenti. Durante la giornata hanno effettuato anche delle missioni addestrative dei Typhoon del 12° Gruppo di Gioia de Colle in rischieramento temporaneo.

The day was splitted in a morning with the usual training mission and the afternoon dedicated to the celebrations. During the day have also carried out training missions some Typhoon of the 12° Gruppo from Gioia de Colle in temporary redeployment.
